Fiyat artışı ile satın alma gücü aynı şey değildir
Geçmiş fiyatlarda aynı marka, yakıt türü, il ve ölçüm dönemini karşılaştırmak gerekir. Birkaç düzensiz gözlemin aritmetik ortalaması tüm yılın gerçek ortalaması olarak gösterilemez.
50 TL’nin kaç litre alabildiğini hesaplamak için 50 tutarını o tarihin doğrulanmış litre fiyatına böleriz. Enflasyona veya dolara göre değişim ayrı analitik göstergelerdir.

Güncel akaryakıt kartları belirli dağıtıcıların bildirilen bölgesel fiyatlarına dayanır; Türkiye ortalaması değildir. Tarihsel aylık benzin ve motorin serisinin kaynağı EPDK Petrol ve LPG Piyasası Fiyatlandırma Raporlarıdır. Farklı şehir, dağıtıcı veya şarj işletmecilerinin tarifeleri değişebilir. Buradaki hesaplamalar tahminidir; gerçek tüketim, sürüş koşulları ve varsa ek hizmet bedelleri sonucu değiştirebilir.
